Ballot Box The Humber Environmental Network is pleased to announce a unique event which will allow you to hear prospective parliamentary candidates’ views on business and the environment.

These issues are bound to be high on the agenda in the forthcoming election so come along to this free event and quiz candidates on their policies.

The event takes place at the Hull Truck Theatre between 4 and 6:30pm on Thursday 18th. March

Candidates confirmed so far are :

 

  • Graham Stuart (C) - MP and PPC for Beverley and Holderness
  • Karl Turner (Lab) - PPC for Kingston-Upon-Hull East
  • Ian Saunders (Lab) - PPC for Beverley and Holderness
  • Denis Healy (Lib Dem) - PPC for Kingston-Upon-Hull North
  • Robert Adamson (Lib Dem) - PPC for East Yorkshire

 

We still expect some other candidates but are confident that the confirmed participants will enable a lively and thought provoking debate. Following registration, each candidate will be given 5 minutes to state their personal and party position on business and the environment.

We will then invite questions from the audience for our panel.

How to Register

Simply e-mail hen@hull.ac.uk together with your question for the panel if you wish to ask one. You will then be sent a confirmation, full agenda and brief bios of the candidates. Places allocated on a first come, first served basis.
